Most motorcycle communication systems begin as separate devices. The speakers and microphone are installed inside the helmet, while the control unit, battery, and antennas are mounted to the outside.
Sena designed the Phantom ANC as a complete smart helmet. The speakers, microphone, controls, antennas, battery, lights, and communication electronics are integrated into the helmet from the beginning. That creates a cleaner exterior and eliminates the need to install a separate clamp-on communicator.

Active Noise Control and Ambient Mode

Sena lists a maximum Mesh range of up to 2 km, or approximately 1.2 miles, in open terrain. Actual range depends on terrain, obstructions, weather, and riding conditions.
Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity supports compatible smartphones and GPS devices for phone calls, navigation directions, and music. Riders can also access Siri or Google Assistant. Settings and compatible over-the-air firmware updates are managed through the Sena Motorcycles App.
Integrated Audio and Microphone
The Phantom ANC uses integrated HD speakers with the ANC module and an AI-based noise-control microphone. Because the speaker locations and acoustic spaces are part of the helmet design, there is no need to position aftermarket speakers inside separate ear pockets.

Fit, Head Shape, and Size Chart
Sena describes the Phantom family as intermediate oval. Measure around the widest part of your head, approximately one inch above your eyebrows and ears. A new helmet should feel evenly snug, but it should not create an isolated pressure point.
