Dependable leather coverage without a thermal liner. The Nomad Drum-Rolled Leather Motorcycle Chaps combine soft drum-dyed naked cowhide with breathable mesh lining and an extra-long, trim-to-fit leg. The unisex design works for commuting, touring, and everyday riding.
Why Riders Choose Them
- Substantial leather coverage: 1.1–1.2 mm cowhide helps shield the legs from wind, debris, and abrasion.
- Comfort without heavy insulation: Mesh lining makes the chaps easier to wear across changing conditions.
- Customizable length: Extra-long legs can be trimmed after the correct thigh and waist fit is confirmed.
- Useful storage: The approximately 13-inch-deep zippered pocket provides secure space for riding essentials.

Fit Guidance
Select motorcycle chaps primarily by thigh measurement. Measure around the fullest part of the thigh while wearing your riding pants. Confirm the waist and thigh fit while wearing your riding boots before trimming the length. Once shortened, chaps cannot be returned to their original length.
Care
Use leather-specific care products and follow their directions. Professional leather cleaning is recommended for deep cleaning.
2-Year Eagle Leather Warranty
Covered by Eagle Leather’s 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Minor eligible repairs may be handled in-house; Eagle Leather reserves the right to send the product to the factory when appropriate.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are the Nomad chaps insulated?
No. They use a mesh lining rather than a bulky thermal liner, making them versatile for everyday riding.
Are these chaps for men or women?
They have a unisex design. Choose the size according to your thigh measurement rather than your usual pants size.
Can the leg length be shortened?
Yes. The legs are supplied extra long and may be trimmed after you confirm the fit while wearing your riding boots.
What is the purpose of the zipper buffer?
It creates a barrier between the zipper and lining, helping reduce snagging when opening or closing the leg.
Will the boot cuffs fit over riding boots?
The four-snap cuffs open to make entry over riding boots easier. Boot dimensions vary, so try the chaps with your own boots before trimming.
