The Cardo BEYOND GTS is not simply a premium motorcycle helmet with a communication unit attached to the side. Cardo designed the helmet, audio system, communication controls, sensors, battery, ventilation, and acoustic chambers as one integrated platform. That difference is the reason the BEYOND GTS deserves careful consideration from touring riders, commuters, group riders, and anyone who already values Cardo communication.
Preorder update: Eagle Leather is accepting preorders against its reserved allocation. Payment is collected at checkout. The current estimated arrival is Fall 2026, but manufacturer production and shipping schedules can change. Visit the Cardo BEYOND GTS product page for current availability and preorder information.
The BEYOND GTS is most compelling for riders who want premium helmet construction and regularly use navigation, music, phone calls, or rider-to-rider communication. It may be particularly attractive to long-distance and sport-touring riders because the communication and audio components are engineered into the helmet instead of being added afterward.
It also makes sense for riders who already ride in Cardo groups. The integrated system supports second-generation Dynamic Mesh Communication, Natural Voice operation, Open Bluetooth Intercom, music streaming, FM radio, and Cardo's expanded Mesh Boost features.
A conventional setup starts with a helmet and adds a separate communicator. That approach remains practical and gives riders flexibility to move or replace the communication unit. The BEYOND GTS takes a different approach: Cardo designed the helmet's internal structure, speakers, acoustic enclosures, controls, sensors, and power system to work together.
The result is a cleaner exterior without a traditional communication module mounted to the side. The controls are positioned as part of the helmet, while the 53mm speakers sit in dedicated acoustic chambers formed by the EPS and comfort padding.
The tradeoff is that the helmet and technology are a single purchasing decision. Riders should therefore pay especially close attention to fit, comfort, serviceability, battery replacement, and long-term support—not only the electronic feature list.
Cardo developed 53mm speakers specifically for the BEYOND platform. The speakers are paired with dedicated acoustic enclosures rather than placed into generic speaker recesses. Cardo describes the design as providing greater clarity, power, and a fuller listening experience.
The GTS also includes Active Noise Cancellation developed specifically for motorcyclists. Cardo says its motorcycle-specific ANC reduces harmful noise while keeping riders connected to their surroundings. Real-world results can vary with motorcycle type, windscreen, riding position, speed, helmet fit, and environmental conditions.
At the center of the BEYOND GTS is an integrated Cardo communication system based on second-generation Dynamic Mesh Communication. Cardo lists a maximum rider-to-rider range of up to 2 km, or 1.2 miles, under ideal conditions. Actual range can be affected by terrain, buildings, traffic, weather, rider spacing, and the other devices in the group.
Mesh Boost expands the system for groups of up to 31 riders and adds Public Mesh and remote grouping. The helmet also supports Bluetooth intercom and Open Bluetooth Intercom for connecting outside a Cardo mesh group. When communicating with another brand through Bluetooth, available features, stability, and range can differ from an all-Cardo DMC group.
The BEYOND GTS combines traditional helmet construction with several electronic safety-related features:
These systems do not eliminate riding risk or replace inspection, maintenance, attentive riding, and correct helmet fit.
Cardo says the helmet was developed using wind-tunnel testing. Its ventilation system includes a three-position RAM-air top vent, a three-position front vent for face airflow and defogging, and a passive rear exhaust integrated beneath the brake light.
For changing light and weather, the GTS includes an internal drop-down sun visor and a Pinlock 200 anti-fog lens. Riders should maintain the shield and ventilation system according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Cardo describes the BEYOND GTS as an intermediate-oval helmet. It is offered in XS, Small, Medium, Large, XL, and 2XL, with four shell sizes used across the six fit sizes. Multiple shell sizes can help avoid unnecessary exterior bulk and produce a more proportionate helmet.
The interior uses removable, washable, antimicrobial, and sweat-wicking materials. Because helmet fit is personal, riders near Eagle Leather can visit the store for in-store fit assistance.
The GTS uses a removable 2000mAh battery with wireless charging. The battery can be detached for charging or replacement without carrying the entire helmet to an outlet.
Cardo describes the BEYOND technology as upgradeable and its components as serviceable. Exact service procedures, eligibility, parts availability, and charges are governed by Cardo's current terms.
Both BEYOND models are fully integrated sport-touring helmets. The GTS is the flagship model, while the GT keeps the integrated concept with different materials and specifications.

The GTS deserves consideration if several of these statements describe you:
A separate helmet and communicator may still be better if you frequently move one Cardo unit among multiple helmets, want the freedom to choose any helmet shape first, or do not expect to use the GTS-specific technology enough to justify the complete integrated system. Fit should remain the first consideration: even an exceptionally equipped helmet is not the right choice if its shape does not suit the rider.
