Sena Phantom ANC Helmet

A complete Sena communication system, active noise control, lighting, and a full-face helmet—engineered together from the start.

The Sena Phantom ANC is made for riders who want premium communication without mounting a separate unit on the outside of their helmet. Its speakers, microphone, controls, antennas, lighting, and battery are integrated into a clean fiberglass-composite shell.

Why Riders Choose the Phantom ANC

• Integrated smart-helmet design: Communication components are built into the helmet, with no separate clamp-on communicator to install.
• Active Noise Control: Sena states that ANC can reduce surrounding wind and engine noise by up to 20 dB, helping make audio and conversations easier to hear. ANC is not a substitute for properly fitted hearing protection.
• Ambient Mode: Switch modes when you want to hear more of the sounds around you.
• Mesh Intercom 3.0: Communicate through Open Mesh or create a private Group Mesh for up to 24 participants. Mesh 2.0 mode provides backward compatibility with compatible earlier Sena Mesh products.
• Phone, GPS, and music: Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity supports calls, navigation prompts, music, Siri, and Google Assistant.
• Clearer communication: Integrated speakers and an AI-based noise-control microphone are designed to improve incoming audio and voice transmission.
• Integrated lighting: Includes a front headlight, rear running light, and an automatic brake light. Helmet-light regulations vary by location; riders should follow applicable local laws.
• Retractable sun visor: The internal tinted visor provides convenient glare reduction without changing the clear outer shield.
• Fast charging: A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours. Sena states that a 20-minute charge can provide up to 7 hours of Mesh Intercom use.
• Easy updates: Use the Sena Motorcycles App for compatible settings and over-the-air firmware updates.

Fit and Sizing

Measure around the widest part of your head, approximately one inch above your eyebrows and ears. The helmet should feel evenly snug without creating an isolated pressure point. If you are between sizes, trying both sizes is the best way to compare the fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Sena Phantom ANC require a separate communication unit?

No. The speakers, microphone, controls, battery, antennas, and communication technology are integrated into the helmet.

What is the difference between ANC and Ambient Mode?

ANC electronically reduces certain surrounding sounds reaching the helmet speakers. Ambient Mode is intended to make external sounds easier to hear when desired. Neither feature replaces attentive riding or appropriate hearing protection.

Will it communicate with other Sena Mesh products?

Yes. The Phantom ANC includes Mesh Intercom 3.0 and can switch to Mesh 2.0 mode for compatibility with compatible earlier Sena Mesh devices.

Can I use it for calls, directions, and music?

Yes. After pairing a compatible smartphone or GPS device, the system supports phone calls, navigation prompts, and music. It also supports Siri and Google Assistant.

How do Open Mesh and Group Mesh differ?

Open Mesh provides selectable channels for open group conversations. Group Mesh creates a private conversation group for up to 24 participants.

How long does charging take?

A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours. According to Sena, fast charging for 20 minutes can provide up to 7 hours of Mesh Intercom use. Actual operating time varies with settings and use.

What head shape does it fit?

The Phantom ANC is designed around an intermediate-oval internal shape. Individual fit can vary, so an in-store fit check is recommended whenever possible.

What lighting is built in?

The helmet includes a front headlight, a rear running light, and a brake light that activates when braking is detected. Use of helmet-mounted lighting may be restricted in some locations.

What certification applies to the helmet sold in the United States?

The U.S. model is DOT certified. ECE 22.06 certification applies to the European model.

What warranty is included?
