The HJC C50 is a full-coverage off-road helmet for trail riding and motocross, pairing a goggle-friendly opening with easy-clean features and strong airflow. Choose Matte Black, Black or White to match your riding gear.
Shell and protection
- Advanced Polycarbonate Compound shell: HJC blends polycarbonate and ABS to balance impact resistance with manageable weight.
- DOT and ECE 22.06: Meets the listed U.S. DOT FMVSS 218 and ECE 22.06 standards.
- Double D-ring retention: A traditional chinstrap fastening system provides an adjustable, secure fit.
Ventilation and off-road visibility
- ACS ventilation: Front-to-back channels carry heat and humidity out while you ride.
- Removable mouth-vent cover: Makes it easier to clear accumulated mud and dust after a ride.
- Tool-less peak: The three-point peak mounting system allows removal without tools. HJC developed the peak using wind-tunnel testing and computational fluid dynamics to improve stability and reduce drag.
- Goggle-ready design: The rear strap groove helps keep off-road goggles positioned securely. This is an open-eyeport off-road helmet rather than a street helmet with an enclosed face shield.
Comfort and communication readiness
The moisture-wicking liner and cheek pads remove for washing. Eyeglass grooves accommodate spectacle arms, and built-in speaker pockets allow a compatible communication setup. Communication equipment is sold separately; confirm the specific system and mounting requirements before purchase.
Colors and finishes
Matte Black corresponds to HJC's Semi Flat Black. Black is the Metal Black finish, and White is Pearl White. Select your preferred color above.
