This listing is for the anti-fog insert. The helmet and outer face shield are sold separately. Check your helmet model and shield before ordering; the original Strobe uses a different insert.
How It Works
The moisture-absorbing lens and its silicone perimeter seal work together to reduce fogging. The seal creates an insulating air space against the shield, while the MaxVision shape fits the shield's recessed viewing area.
Installation
Remove the face shield according to LS2's instructions. Handle the insert by its edges and fit it between the shield's pins with the silicone seal against the inside of the shield. Allow the shield to return to its normal curve, then check that the seal makes continuous contact. Remove the protective film and reinstall the shield before use.
Follow the supplied Pinlock instructions for pin adjustment and cleaning. A complete seal and a clean, undamaged lens are essential for proper performance.
Care
Pinlock recommends rinsing the removed insert with mineral water and gently treating remaining marks with a clean, damp microfiber cloth. Let the insert and shield air-dry fully before reassembly. Avoid abrasive products and cleaners containing alcohol or ammonia.
