Shoei VFX-EVO Faithful 2

The SHOEI VFX-EVO Faithful 2 brings premium off-road construction to a striking black-and-white TC-5 stars-and-stripes graphic. Built for motocross and demanding trail riding, it combines SHOEI's AIM+ shell, rotational-energy management and a sweat-managing interior.

Protection engineered for off-road riding

• Multi-Ply Matrix AIM+ shell: SHOEI's multi-fiber construction forms the helmet's protective outer structure.
• M.E.D.S.: The Motion Energy Distribution System uses a moving inner EPS layer and engineered support columns to help reduce rotational acceleration during an impact.
• Dual-layer, multi-density EPS: Designed to manage impact energy while accommodating ventilation passages.
• Emergency Quick Release System: Allows emergency personnel to remove the cheek pads to assist helmet removal.
• Certifications: SHOEI lists the current Faithful 2 with DOT FMVSS 218 and Snell M2025D approval.

Wind-tunnel development and ventilation

SHOEI developed the VFX-EVO's vent shapes, sizes and locations in its own wind tunnel. Sixteen intake and exhaust vents help move heat and humidity away during physically demanding riding. The shell incorporates a spoiler shape, while controlled shell thickness balances strength and weight.

Comfort that supports longer motos

The 3D Max-Dry interior is removable, washable and replaceable. Its shaped padding supports a secure fit, and SHOEI states the material absorbs and disperses sweat twice as quickly as conventional nylon interiors. Optional replacement pads allow fit adjustment without changing the helmet's shell or protective liner.

Peak, eyeport and included accessories

The V-470 peak integrates with the helmet's off-road profile. Use suitable motocross goggles with the open eyeport; this model does not use a street-style enclosed face shield. SHOEI lists a V-470 visor/peak, mud guard and helmet bag with the helmet.

About the Faithful 2 graphic

Faithful 2 is the graphic design on the VFX-EVO platform. The name does not indicate a second-generation VFX-EVO helmet. This listing is the Faithful 2 TC-5 finish shown in the gallery.

SHOEI size chart

Measure around the widest part of your head, about one inch above your eyebrows, keeping the tape level. If you fall between sizes, SHOEI recommends trying the smaller size first. Confirm a snug, even fit by trying the helmet on; circumference alone cannot determine fit.

Warranty

SHOEI's limited warranty covers manufacturing defects for five years from purchase or seven years from manufacture, whichever comes first. Authorized-dealer and country-of-purchase conditions apply.
