Description
The Scorpion EXO-R430 Photochromic Shield is a replacement face shield for riders who want one lens that adjusts as lighting changes. Its photochromic tint transitions from clear in low light toward smoke in brighter conditions, reducing the need to carry and swap separate clear and tinted shields.
Key Features
Photochromic technology responds to ambient light, moving from clear toward a smoke tint in brighter sunlight.
Scorpion describes the shield as providing a sharp, wide field of view with minimal color shift or distortion.
Pinlock® ready for use with a compatible Pinlock insert, sold separately.
Compatibility
Fits ScorpionEXO EXO-R430 and EXO-Eclipse helmets. Confirm your helmet model before ordering. This listing is for the shield only; the Pinlock insert is not included.
Use and Care
The tint response depends on weather, sun exposure, and other conditions. The manufacturer notes that the transition may vary, so use a clear view appropriate to the riding conditions and do not rely on tint alone to judge visibility.
Warranty
ScorpionEXO backs the shield with a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects. Gradual tint wear caused by prolonged sunlight exposure is excluded from warranty coverage.
