The Small RAM X-Grip Holder with Tough-Claw is a compact phone mount that combines a spring-loaded cradle with a removable clamp base. The open four-arm design keeps the screen accessible, and the articulating connection lets you position the phone for a useful viewing angle.

Construction and Adjustment

Model RAM-HOL-UN7-400U uses a high-strength composite body, stainless steel components and rubber contact points. The 3/4-inch RAM Snap-Link connection allows 360-degree rotation. This compact configuration mounts the holder directly above the Tough-Claw.

The small Tough-Claw fits round, square and irregular rails within its compatible range. RAM currently specifies a rail outside diameter of 0.625-1.14 inches for this configuration. Measure the mounting location before ordering. Rubber pads cushion the contact points, and the hand-operated clamp allows tool-free installation and removal.

Included and Installation

Includes the X-Grip holder, Tough-Claw base, device tether and rubber-cap adhesive. Secure the rubber caps with the supplied adhesive and let it dry fully before use. Install the mount where it leaves your view and controls unobstructed. Use the tether around the phone's corners for open-cockpit riding and check that the phone and clamp are secure before every ride. Phone sold separately.
