The OptiMate 1 Duo is a fully automatic battery charger and maintainer for motorcycles and other powersport vehicles that are ridden seasonally or kept in storage. It recognizes whether a compatible battery is lead-acid or lithium iron phosphate and adjusts its maintenance program automatically.

Automatic 4-step program: A 0.6A constant-current charger adapts to the connected battery and manages charging and long-term maintenance without manual mode selection.
Low-voltage start: The program can begin when a compatible battery retains at least 4V.
Safe long-term connection: Designed for unattended maintenance, with electronic protection and automatic shutdown if the battery is disconnected or a short circuit occurs.

Battery range and use

For 12V lead-acid batteries from 2 to 15Ah and 12.8V or 13.2V LiFePO4/LFP batteries from 2 to 8Ah. The manufacturer also lists supported batteries up to 28Ah for ongoing maintenance. Indoor use is rated down to -4°F (-20°C). The global input accepts 100 to 240V AC at 50 to 60Hz.

Included accessories

Includes a weatherproof battery lead for quick connection and a battery clip set. The charger has a 12ft (370cm) charge lead with an SAE connector.
