Camera hardware and everyday use
Dual 1/1.1-inch sensors and a triple AI chip system support image processing and low-light capture. A 2.32-inch OLED touchscreen provides framing and playback, while replaceable lenses offer a service option if a lens is damaged. The camera has 47GB of usable internal storage plus microSD expansion.
The included 2600mAh Xtreme Battery is rated for approximately 140 minutes at 8K30fps or 79 minutes at 8K50fps under Insta360's laboratory conditions. Actual recording time depends on temperature, settings and use. Wind-reduction audio features help manage the airflow encountered while riding.

What has improved over the X5?
The X6 increases maximum 360 video capture from 8K30fps to 8K50fps and 360 photo resolution from 72MP to 120MP. Its 1/1.1-inch sensors are larger than the X5's 1/1.28-inch sensors. It also adds usable internal storage and an OLED screen in a shorter camera body.

Check mount fit and follow Insta360's mounting instructions before riding. Position the camera and hardware clear of controls and moving parts, and check all attachments before each ride.
