The HJC i91 Felio is a modular motorcycle helmet for touring, cruising and everyday road riding. Its flip-up chin bar adds convenience at stops, while an internal sun visor, included Pinlock insert and communication-system readiness make it well suited to longer journeys and changing conditions.
Shell and Protection
The Advanced Polycarbonate Composite shell and polycarbonate chin bar use HJC's CAD-developed shaping to balance fit, comfort and weight. The US-market i91 meets DOT FMVSS 218 requirements. Close and securely latch the chin bar before riding, and follow the helmet manual for operation and fit checks.
Shield, Sun Visor and Fog Control
- HJ-33 outer shield: Pinlock-ready, anti-scratch coated and rated for 99% UV protection.
- Included Pinlock insert: helps resist fogging when correctly installed in the shield.
- HJ-V12 internal sun visor: provides convenient shade without changing the outer shield.
- Dynamic Multi-Step adjustment: lets you position the sun visor for a more comfortable view.
Ventilation and Interior Comfort
HJC's Advanced Channeling Ventilation System moves air through the helmet to help manage heat during a ride. The Supercool interior uses moisture-wicking, antibacterial fabric, with removable interior components for care and replacement. Glasses grooves make room for eyeglass or sunglass arms, and interchangeable cheek pads allow approved fit adjustments.
The contoured interior and reflective trim add practical touring details. Always choose the correct helmet size first; replacement pads are for fine-tuning a proper fit.
SMART HJC Ready
The i91 accepts SMART HJC 11B, 21B and 50B communication systems, sold separately. These compatible systems offer an integrated installation for communication, navigation prompts and audio, with capabilities depending on the unit selected.

Size Chart
Head circumference from HJC's model-specific US i91 chart:
| Size | Head circumference |
|---|---|
| X-Small | 54-55 cm |
| Small | 55-56 cm |
| Medium | 57-58 cm |
| Large | 58-59 cm |
| X-Large | 60-61 cm |
| 2X-Large | 62-63 cm |
Measure around the widest part of your head with a flexible tape, keeping it level above the eyebrows and ears. Use the chart as a starting point, then check the helmet on your head. It should fit snugly around the crown and cheeks without painful pressure. With the strap secured, it should not move independently of your head or roll off. Try the helmet on before riding to confirm both size and head-shape compatibility.
