HJC i72 Full-Face Motorcycle Helmet

The HJC i72 brings a compact sport-touring shape, an internal sun visor and everyday comfort features to a full-face road helmet. It is a practical choice for commuters and touring riders who want adaptable visibility, effective airflow and a washable interior for regular use.

Shell Construction and Safety

The APC Advanced Polycarbonate Compound shell balances impact resistance with a lightweight design. Three shell sizes and four EPS liner sizes help tailor the helmet's proportions and fit across the size range. The US-market i72 carries DOT and ECE approval.

What Has Improved

HJC reports a 25% smaller chin area, 20% less drag and 35% less lift compared with the i72's predecessor. The more compact, aerodynamically refined shape is designed to improve stability and reduce strain during longer rides. These are HJC's comparative design figures, rather than a guarantee of identical results on every motorcycle or for every rider.

Face Shield and Fog Management

• The HJ-52 face shield provides Optical Class 1 clarity, a scratch-resistant coating and 99% UV protection.
• A one-touch center lock supports balanced shield operation and convenient use with riding gloves.
• The shield is Pinlock-ready, and a Pinlock anti-fog insert is included to help maintain visibility in changing weather.

Internal Sun Visor

The integrated HJ-V12 sun shield gives you convenient glare control as light conditions change. HJC's adjustable system provides 8 mm of travel so you can fine-tune its position for your face and preferred coverage.

Ventilation

The ACS Advanced Channeling Ventilation System uses five intake vents and two exhaust vents. Front-to-back airflow carries heat and humidity through the helmet and out the rear, helping maintain comfort during everyday rides and longer trips.

Interior Comfort and Care

• A moisture-wicking, quick-drying antibacterial interior helps manage perspiration.
• Comfort-liner materials certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 support extended wear.
• Removable, washable crown and cheek pads make routine cleaning easier.

Communication-System Readiness

HJC designed the i72 to accommodate universal Bluetooth communication systems. A communicator is sold separately; confirm mounting and speaker fit for the specific system you choose.

Colors and Finishes

Matte Black corresponds to HJC's Semi-Flat Black finish. Titanium is Semi-Flat Titanium. Gloss Black is HJC's Metal Black, White is Pearl White, and Nardo Gray is the solid gray option. Select the color to see its matching product image.

Sizing and Fit

Available sizes are X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and 2X-Large. Wrap a flexible measuring tape level around the widest part of your head, approximately one inch above your eyebrows. Use this measurement as a starting point and try the helmet on to confirm fit.

The helmet should feel evenly snug around the head and cheeks without painful pressure points. Fasten the chin strap and follow HJC's fit-check instructions to confirm that the helmet stays securely in position. Eagle Leather can help you check the fit in person.

HJC Limited Warranty

HJC covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for up to three years from purchase or five years from manufacture, whichever comes first. Misuse, negligence, modifications and accident damage are excluded. Face shields have a separate warranty of up to one year from purchase, subject to HJC's terms.
