Overall, this is a good ECE-rated helmet for those looking for something new. I like the helmet's design and look, which is why I gravitated towards it. In real-world scenarios' however, the helmet does have some issues. The helmet is quiet compared to cheaper $100 helmets I have had in the past, but it is not as quiet as other more expensive Shoei helmets.
When it comes to noise reduction, you get what you pay for. The helmet also fogs easily. I had to install a pinlock to make the helmet safe and usable even on a warm summer day. It's not a huge deal, but it's something you should be aware of.
The helmet is also warm, and I find myself sweating with any temps above 70. Lastly, the airflow on this helmet could be better. While there is some airflow over the top of my head, it is not enough to help with sweating or keep my visor clear. Overall, this is still a good helmet for those looking for an affordable ECE-rated lid. Unfortunately for HJC, with so much competition in the helmet market, this helmet falls a little short of the competition. It is, however, still a good helmet and one I enjoy using even with its issues.
