The HJC F100 Solid is a fiberglass modular motorcycle helmet for commuters, cruiser riders, and touring riders who want flexible face coverage without giving up everyday comfort. Its rotating chin bar converts between full-face and open-face configurations, while a built-in sun visor helps you adapt to changing light.

Shell, protection, and airflow

• Advanced Fiberglass Composite shell: layered fiberglass construction balances impact resistance with manageable weight.
• DOT compliant: meets or exceeds DOT FMVSS 218 requirements.
• Wind-tunnel-developed profile: shaped to reduce drag and lift for a more settled feel on longer rides.
• ACS ventilation: three intakes and five outlets move air through the helmet. Front and mouth vents direct fresh air toward the shield and breathing area.

Shield and adjustable sun visor

The Pinlock-ready HJ-45 shield has an anti-scratch coating and provides 99% UV protection. Its ratchet mechanism simplifies shield changes, while the shield lock helps keep it securely closed.

• HJ-45A shield: fits X-Small, Small, and Medium helmets.
• HJ-45B shield: fits Large, X-Large, and 2X-Large helmets.
• HJ-V12 dark smoke sun visor: built-in shade with up to 8 mm of vertical adjustment.
• Pinlock lens included: helps control shield fogging. Match replacement inserts to the correct A or B shield.

Comfort and communication readiness

The contoured interior provides a close fit. Removable, washable cheek pads and a moisture-wicking, quick-drying center liner make routine cleaning easier. Eyeglass grooves accommodate spectacle arms.

Speaker pockets provide space for a compatible Bluetooth headset. A communication system is sold separately; confirm the mounting arrangement for your chosen unit before installation.

Size chart and fit guidance

Head-circumference measurements below follow the HJC chart linked to Helmet House's F100 listing.

Measure horizontally around the widest part of your head, approximately one inch above your eyebrows. Use the chart as a starting point, then try the helmet on. Manufacturer warranty

HJC covers manufacturing defects for three years from purchase or five years from manufacture, whichever comes first, subject to its warranty terms.
