Frequently asked questions
How much can the side lacing adjust the fit?
The laces provide fine adjustment through the waist and lower torso and can add a little room for a light layer. Begin with the correct chest size.
What does soft milled cowhide feel like?
Milling softens the leather and develops a natural grain, giving the vest a more supple, broken-in feel than a stiff new leather.
Are the front snaps decorative or functional?
They are functional four-snap front closures with Buffalo nickel styling and heavy, corrosion-resistant hardware.
Where is the braided detail?
The braiding follows the shaped seam lines, adding texture while preserving the vest’s clean western silhouette.
How should I care for the leather?
Wipe away surface dust with a soft, slightly damp cloth, air-dry away from direct heat, and apply a conditioner suitable for milled cowhide sparingly after testing it in an inconspicuous area.
