Cardo Venture Helmet

Cardo VENTURE Integrated Off-Road Helmet

Cardo calls the VENTURE the world's first off-road helmet designed with fully integrated Mesh communication and powerful Sound by JBL. Instead of mounting a separate communicator onto a dirt bike helmet, Cardo built the controls, microphone, speakers, antenna, and communication hardware into a purpose-designed helmet for motocross, enduro, trail, dual-sport, and adventure riding.

The result is a cleaner off-road setup that combines a Kevlar and fiberglass composite shell, LEATT 360° Turbine Technology, four-density impact foam, strong low-speed ventilation, second-generation Dynamic Mesh Communication, and 40mm JBL speakers in one complete platform.

Protection and Helmet Construction

• Kevlar and fiberglass composite shell: Lightweight composite construction offered across three shell sizes.
• Four-density impact foam: Multiple foam densities are used to help manage different impact forces.
• LEATT 360° Turbine Technology: Flexible turbine discs allow controlled movement during certain impacts to help reduce rotational acceleration. Their energy-absorbing material also helps manage lower-speed impact energy.
• Breakaway peak: The off-road visor is designed to detach during an impact to help reduce rotational torque.
• Emergency-release cheek pads: Designed to help trained responders remove the helmet more carefully after an incident.
• Double D-ring retention: A proven and secure helmet fastening system.
• DOT and ECE 22.06 certified: Approved for United States road use and certified to the current European motorcycle helmet standard.

Integrated Cardo Communication

• Second-generation Dynamic Mesh Communication: Designed for easy grouping, automatic network healing, and stable group intercom.
• Up to 1.6 km or 1 mile range: Maximum rider-to-rider range under ideal conditions. Terrain, trees, elevation, rider position, and wireless interference can reduce actual range.
• Natural Voice Operation: Control key music, phone, intercom, volume, and battery functions without reaching for the helmet controls.
• Live Bluetooth Intercom: Supports Bluetooth connections with other major intercom brands. Features and range can differ from a Cardo DMC connection.
• Phone, GPS, and TFT connectivity: Pair compatible devices through the integrated communication system.
• Cardo Connect App: Manage settings and access supported system controls from a compatible smartphone.
• Over-the-air updates: Install supported software updates without connecting the helmet to a computer.
• Music sharing and FM radio: Integrated entertainment features include a built-in FM radio with six presets.

40mm Sound by JBL

The VENTURE includes integrated 40mm Sound by JBL speakers. Because the audio system is part of the helmet from the start, riders do not need to install separate speakers or route wiring behind the cheek pads. The built-in boom microphone supports intercom, phone calls, and voice commands.

Microphone setup: Position the boom microphone directly in front of your mouth with the small black triangle facing your lips. Incorrect orientation can make your voice sound weak or unclear to other riders.

Water and Dust Protection

The VENTURE is designed for demanding off-road conditions, but the individual communication components do not all carry the same water rating. Cardo specifies the remote control and microphone as IP67, the rear main unit as IP54, and no separate ingress-protection rating for the speakers. After heavy rain, mud, or dust exposure, clean the helmet carefully and allow the components to dry fully before reassembly or charging.

Off-Road Comfort and Fit

• PRO-FIT technology: A modulating crown pad is designed to conform across a range of head shapes.
• Ionic+ comfort liner: Washable, breathable, moisture-wicking material with antimicrobial properties that help control odor-causing bacteria.
• Low-speed and high-speed ventilation: Large ports and dedicated channels promote airflow during technical riding as well as faster sections.
• Goggle compatible: The eye port is designed for motocross and off-road goggles.
• Neck-brace compatible: Cardo lists the helmet as suitable for use with compatible off-road neck braces.
• Six helmet sizes: Available from X-Small through 2X-Large.

Cardo VENTURE Size Chart

Measure around the widest part of your head, approximately one inch above your eyebrows. Keep the tape level and comfortably snug. If your measurement falls between sizes, Cardo recommends choosing the larger size.

Fit note: A size chart is only a starting point. The helmet should feel evenly snug without painful pressure points. Visit Eagle Leather for an in-store fit check whenever possible.
