The Cardo HJC Packtalk brings Cardo's mesh communication system into a compact unit designed for selected HJC helmets. It is a strong choice for riders who want clear group communication, simple pairing, and a clean helmet fit without a universal external mounting clamp.
Communication and sound
- Second-generation Dynamic Mesh Communication: Quickly create a group and keep the connection working as riders move in and out of range.
- Group rides for up to 31 riders: Cardo lists a maximum range of up to 1.6 km (1 mile) between two units under favorable conditions. Terrain, traffic, weather, and radio interference affect real-world range.
- Sound by JBL: 40 mm speakers provide clear audio for music, calls, navigation, and intercom.
- Bluetooth 5.2: Pair with compatible devices and connect by standard Bluetooth to other brands. Music sharing is supported with Cardo units from the same generation; older Cardo generations do not support music sharing with this model.
- Natural Voice Operation: Use voice commands to control key functions while riding.
Rider-ready features
- IP67 waterproof rating: Built for wet riding conditions.
- Fast charging: Cardo states that 20 minutes of charging provides up to 2 hours of talk time, with a full charge in about 2 hours.
- Over-the-air updates: Update software through the Cardo Connect app, or use Cardo's computer update tool.
- Three-year warranty: Cardo lists a three-year warranty for HJC Packtalk.
Compatible HJC helmets
Cardo lists this system for selected HJC models: RPHA 60 and RPHA 60 Carbon, RPHA 72 and RPHA 72 Carbon, F71 and F71 Carbon, i71, RPHA 91 and RPHA 91 Carbon, i91, RPHA 31, and F31. Compatibility is model-specific. Confirm the exact helmet model and generation before ordering.
Installation and setup
Install the Packtalk in a compatible HJC helmet using the included helmet-specific components and Cardo's fitting instructions. Position the speakers opposite your ear canals for the clearest sound. Pair and configure the system through the Cardo Connect app, then install available updates before your first ride.
