How To Size Chaps:
Thigh Measurement:
Measure around the thickest part of your thigh. This is the most important measurement in chaps. Waist is adjustable, length is trimmable (leather does not fray).
Waist Measurement:
The waist in chaps is adjustable 2" up or down in the front, and up to 6" in the back by adjusting the laces.
In-seam:
the in-seam for regular chaps ranges between 32" on the smallest size to 36" on the largest. Most people end up trimming them.
Tall chaps are 2" longer.

How To Size Gloves:
Palm Measurement: Measure around the palm of your dominant hand just below the point where the fingers meet the palm.
Calculate Size: Use the measurement in inches to find your size on the size chart.

Crown Measurement: Measure around the head about 1.5 inches above the eyebrow line. Sizing may vary by brand.

How to Size Jackets:
Arm Measurement:
Measure from the center point of the neck, over your shoulder, around your elbow, and to the wrist while in the riding position, if the size chart for the jacket reads in the 30's. If the size char is in the 20's start at the point of the shoulder and continue around the elbow to the wrist.
Chest Measurement:
Measure around the widest part of the chest with your arms at your side. This point should be just below the armpits.
Measure around the waist about an inch above the belly button. This measurement will likely be different than your pant waist measurement.
Calculate Size:
Use the size chart to find your size based upon the measurement numbers.
If you are between sizes, go down one size for a snug fit, or up one size for a comfortable fit.

Measure around the waist where you would normally wear a belt.
Inseam Measurement
Measure from the inside point where the leg meets the torso to the floor while standing with feet together.

Most leather pants are designed to be trimmed to length. Over-pants have pre-calculated the thickness of clothing being worn under, so you do not need to factor other clothing in.

How To Size Vests:
Chest Measurement:
Measure around the widest part of the chest with you arms at your side. This point should be just below the armpits.
Calculate Size: Add 2 to the chest measurement for even numbers and 3 for odd numbers, and that is your size.
* Vests with side lacing can be adjusted to fit the waist or over a coat better.

How To Size Gerbing's Heated Jackets & Jacket Liners:
Chest Measurement: Measure around the fullest area of the chest, holding tape firm and level. Arm Measurement: With arm in riding position, measure from center of neck, over point of shoulder, around back of elbow and down outside of arm to the wrist. Calculate Size: Add 4 inches to chest measurement for the chest size. Add 0 to 2 inches to arm measurement for sleeve length.
EXAMPLE: Chest Measurement = 42 inches. Arm Measurement = 34 inches. Your Size is chest/sleeve 46/34 or 36.

How To Size Gerbing's Heated Pants & Pant Liners:
Hip Measurement: Measure around fullest point of seat while standing. Belt To Floor Measurement: Measure along the outer seam from the top of the belt down to the floor with shoes on. Calculate Size: Add 2 inches to the hip measurement. Add 2 inches to the belt to floor measurement.
EXAMPLE: Hip Measurement = 44 inches. Belt to Floor Measurement = 42 inches. Your Size is hip/belt to floor 46/44.
