The LS2 Assault III Solid is a full-face street helmet for commuting and longer rides, with an internal sun visor and included Pinlock anti-fog insert for everyday versatility.
Shell and Protection
A Kinetic Polymer Alloy shell surrounds multi-density EPS. The Assault III meets DOT FMVSS 218 and ECE 22.06, uses three shell sizes across XS-3XL, and has a manufacturer-listed weight of 1600 g +/- 50 g. An emergency-release system, reinforced chin strap and micrometric buckle complete the protective design.
Shield and Sun Visor
The wide-vision outer shield is scratch- and UV-resistant, with a quick-release mechanism, button lock and double-injection seal. An internal sunshield adds convenient shade. A Pinlock 70 MaxVision insert is included.
Airflow and Comfort
Top and chin vents work with rear exhausts and channeled EPS to move air through the helmet. The breathable, hypoallergenic, antibacterial liner is removable and washable. A magnetic chin curtain and breath deflector help manage airflow around the face.

Measure around the widest part of your head above the eyebrows, keeping the tape level. Use the chart as a starting point and try the helmet on with the strap secured. The fit should be snug and even without painful pressure.
