Eagle Leather is a brick-and-mortar motorcycle gear retailer based in Lakewood, Washington, serving riders since 1995. Founded by rider Mike Toursal, we specialize in helping riders choose gear that fits right, protects properly, and performs in real-world riding conditions.

With one of the largest motorcycle gear showrooms in the Pacific Northwest, we combine hands-on fitting experience with decades of rider feedback to guide riders toward gear they can trust—whether they shop in-store or online.

Our Story

It all started with Mike Toursal, a rider who fell in love with motorcycles after his first ride on a CMG. That passion took him on the road, selling motorcycle gear out of a van. From the legendary rallies of Daytona and Sturgis to opening a full-scale store, his dedication to high-quality motorcycle leathers turned Eagle Leather into a must-visit destination for riders.

Our History

1995: Mike started selling motorcycle gear out of a van, specializing in high-quality leather apparel.
1990s: Eagle Leather became a rally favorite, setting up at major events like Daytona and Sturgis.
2007: We moved to our current location in Lakewood, WA—right at the corner of Highway 512 and South Tacoma Way.
2012: A second 20,000 sq. ft. store opened in Auburn, WA. It later closed in 2017 to explore better opportunities.
2017: We launched our online store on Shopify, making it easier for riders to shop from anywhere.
Today: Eagle Leather is the #1 gear destination for Pacific Northwest riders, offering a huge selection and a rider-first experience.

Just what I was looking for.

I spent a lot of time on long rides last year (2025) and on a few my neck gave out before anything else. My helmet was too heavy for a chicken neck old lady riding more than a couple of hours. Me, being a chicken neck old lady found this out the hard way. I looked into carbon fiber helmets... really expensive for a chi... You get the idea.
This helmet provided the weight reduction I was looking for and does a great job of noise and buffering to boot. With DOT and ece ratings the protection is there. Its a mean looking helmet as well.

Excellent quality and perfect fit! More than I expected and a very heavy jacket feels like it weighs as much as i do haa.

Runs a little big

Runs a little big . Excellant quality. Super soft leather. Inside pocket snaps look like the base of a rifle shell. Elastic in both pockets to help retain pistol and 2 mags. A compact 9 will fit tightly in the elastic.

Great help and prices and selection

I needed a new helmet and did not want to chance getting the wrong size by ordering online. The staff was very helpful in making sure I chose the right size and helmet for my needs from a very large selection and styles. The price was great for the helmet purchased.
