The good news: Yeah, this thing flat works. I spent 4 straight hours on my Harley Roadster yesterday without it being a pain in the a$$. Literally. Well worth the price.
The bad news: I didn't buy it for my Roadster, but for my CanAm Spyder F3-T instead, The F3 has what would be called a "touring seat," wide and deep, but when sitting motionless on it all day, it eventually starts to burn. However, the gel cushion's straps were not big enough to fit the Spyder, even with the added fastex buckled straps whioch really don't connect to anything. I think someone either didn't understand the products requirements, or they were never written down properly.
The straps, however, fit the seat on my Harley just fine, so I elected to keep it. And like I said, it DOES work. If I had intended originally to buy this for the Harley, I would have given it five stars. I recommend this product for all non-touring bikes.
