At Eagle Leather, we provide professional alterations to ensure your riding gear fits comfortably and performs at its best. Whether you need sleeves shortened, gear taken in or let out, or custom adjustments, our skilled sewing team is here to help.
Most of the alterations we perform are on items not purchased from our store, so feel free to bring in any riding gear that needs modifications. Since pricing varies based on fabric type, complexity, and time required, we recommend visiting us for an estimate.

General Sewing Services Information
What kinds of sewing services do you offer?
We offer a range of services, including patch sewing, alterations, repairs, on riding gear, and some upholstery work.
Do you work on items not purchased at Eagle Leather?
Yes! Most of the sewing services we provide are for items not purchased at our store.
What types of materials do you work with?
We specialize in leather and textile alterations and repairs. If your item is made from a unique material, please bring it in for evaluation.
What days is your sewing team available?

Can I make an appointment?
Due to high demand, all sewing services are first-come, first-served. Patches are given priority due to many not being able to leave their patches because of club or organization rules.
Can I tip the sewing team?
Our company policy prohibits tipping or gifts. To compensate for this, our sewing team receives a higher hourly wage.
Patches & Embroidery
Do you sew patches onto jackets, vests, or other gear?
Yes! We professionally sew patches onto leather and textile gear.
How much does it cost to sew patches?
Patch sewing starts at $7.00, but pricing varies based on the size, placement, and number of patches.
I am a club member or part of an organization that cannot leave my cut or patches. Can you take care of it while I wait?
Yes! Patches are usually sewn same-day while you wait. However, if a repair or alteration is also needed, we recommend calling ahead to coordinate since those may take longer.
Do you offer custom embroidery?
No, we do not offer custom embroidery services, as we do not have the machines required to do custom embroidery.
Alterations (Custom Fit & Adjustments)
What does it cost for alterations?
Pricing is set by the individual sewing team members based on the time and complexity of the work.
Can you tailor gear for a better fit?
Yes! We can take in jackets, vests, and chaps or let them out if possible.
Can you shorten sleeves or pant legs?
Yes, we can shorten jacket sleeves and adjust the length of chaps and pants.
Can you add or modify armor pockets in motorcycle jackets or pants?
Yes! We can adjust, replace, or add armor pockets for improved protection.
Repairs (Zippers, Fixes, & Restorations)
Do you repair zippers, snaps, or Velcro?
Yes! We replace zippers, repair snaps, and fix Velcro on jackets, chaps, and other riding gear.
How much does it cost to replace a zipper?
Zipper replacement prices vary based on the type and placement of the zipper. Please bring your item in for an estimate.
Do you repair holes, rips, or damaged leather?
Yes! We can patch holes, reinforce weak areas, and fix damaged seams depending on the material.
Do you repair rain gear?
Some waterproof gear can be repaired, but not all materials can be altered without affecting their waterproofing. Bring your item in for evaluation.
Turnaround Time & Pricing
How long will it take to complete my alteration or repair?
Most alterations and repairs take one week to complete. If your item is shipped, please allow an additional two weeks for shipping time.
What if I need it done quickly?
If you need faster service, let us know your deadline. We will do our best to accommodate urgent requests, but due to demand, rush orders are not always possible.
Can I get a quote by phone?
We can provide an estimate based on your description, but for accuracy, we recommend bringing the item in.
I live far away and cannot bring my item in. How do I get a quote?
You can email pictures to Sales@EagleLeather.com. If possible, share a video or video link allows you to explain your desired outcome.
Can I ship my item for sewing services?
Yes! Include a note with your name, contact information, and service request so our team can identify and process it.
Do I have to pay for return shipping?
Yes, you can select your preferred return shipping method.
