Marry Ann and the existence of God.

Mary Ann was riding her motorcycle one day and, as one does, she got to thinking about life, the universe, and the existence of God. She loved science and exploring the origins of life and the layout of the universe. About God, she was unconvinced. But she found that every day she wanted to know: Does God exist?

She mortgaged her house to get the huge amount of money it took and rented time on IBM’s Big Blue—the computer that won Jeopardy against the best human champions. She made sure that it had all the latest data from all the world’s data banks and, with hands that shook a bit, typed in her question: Does God exist?

Big Blue took almost no time to answer. On her screen were the words: He does now.
