Martha Gets an Odd Christmas Present

Martha’s motorcycle wouldn’t start. Her husband Sherman went to check on it.

“It’s the battery,” he opined.

Sherman bought the battery and installed it. “There,” he said, that takes care of your Christmas present.

Of course, Martha thought he was kidding. On Christmas morning she found out—he wasn’t.
