A Kiss Before You Go

Sarah was coming home from her holiday vacation and looking forward to getting home to her bike. She stepped in a puddle on the way to the terminal. The terminal was crowded and the clerk at the check-in counter was grumpy. Sarah’s good mood had evaporated by now and the cheap plastic mistletoe that was falling apart after a long season taped above the luggage scale did nothing to improve it.
“Who’s going to stoop down and get a kiss under that sad-looking mistletoe?” Sarah asked the clerk.
“It’s not for kissing another person. We put it there so you can kiss your luggage goodbye.”
