Eagle Leather Brand
Made for Riders, with your feedback.
Do you have questions about motorcycle gear? Do you want to know what’s new this year and what’s in the pipeline for the future? Do you have good things to say or complaints to air to a brand rep?
February 23 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Eagle Leather store in Lakewood, we’re hosting The Great Gear for the Ride Expo. Lots of brand reps will be here with displays. Cruise the exhibits, listen to the short talks, ask questions, mix and mingle with other motorcycle enthusiasts. We’ll be serving coffee, pop, and snacks, and, if you’re here at lunchtime—we’ll have chow for you.
And we’re having lots and lots of drawings for free gear! Many of the reps who will attend will give away products. However, at this date, we don’t have the complete list, so we won’t mention any of them specifically. Watch the Eagle Leather Facebook page for day-to-day announcements. Next week we’ll have a pretty complete list on this newsletter.
In a recent blog, we mentioned devices that help riders communicate with passengers and with other riders in a group. Two experts on helmet communication systems will tell us about the ins and outs. Tom Connor will speak about Cardo systems and Matt Riffe will tell us about Sena systems.
Which helmet is best for your unique personality and riding style? It’s a complex question, but the reps from several helmet companies will attend to speak about their brands and to answer your questions: Eric Wright will talk about Bell brand helmets; Andrew Morris will speak about LS2 helmets; Oz from Parts Unlimited will tell us about Icon helmets; Matt Riffe will discuss Fly helmets. A Scorpion rep is coming, but we don’t know just who and HJC may send a rep, but we aren’t sure yet.
Heated clothing is a hot topic (forgive us, we couldn’t resist) this time of year. You know that we love Gerbing brand heated gear, and Eric Wright will discuss the various Gerbing gear. Mobile Warming is more new to us; Andrew Morris will explain it.
So far, these apparel reps are coming: Tom Connor for FirstGear and Matt Riffe for Fly. Our own sales staff will talk about Eagle Leather brand gear.
We expect that more reps will be on hand, and we’ll give you news of them on the Eagle Leather Facebook page and in the next newsletter.
In all there will be at least $2000.00 (based on retail prices) in giveaways. We’ll have drawings every hour (or half hour—again, we’ll firm that up next week. We’ll start with the less expensive items and move onto the bigger-ticket items through the day. We’d like to get a photo and a brief interview with the winners.
It’s going to be a big day! Check in on the Eagle Leather Facebook page and watch this space, too, for more details.
