This week we’ll continue to introduce our new line of helmets from LS2, all of which are DOT approved. The line has a variety of styles and features, and our expert sales staff is ready to help you decide which is best for you.
Like most of the LS2 helmets, the LS2 Metro V3 Modular Helmet comes in three shell sizes for the best fit. The shell is designed for aerodynamics and made from LS2’s proprietary ultra-light, strong yet flexible Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA).
The chin bar has a full metal latch to hold it locked closed, a locking switch to keep it locked open, a solid detent at its top to prevent it from dropping unexpectedly, and big, adjustable air intake ports for excellent ventilation. The helmet has a removable sun visor and a scratch and UC-resistant face shield with Fog Fighter coating. The Twin Shield System changes fast because of the tool-less quick-change system; the inner sun shield is cable-operated with a switch you can use with gloves on.
Like all LS2 helmets, the Metro V3 has comfort padding that uses breathable technical fabric and is easy to remove and wash. The cheek pads are cut from ultra-high-quality foam for lasting comfort.
The half-shell LS2 HH590 Rebellion Helmet is also made from KPA for light weight and high performance. It comes in two shell sizes (XS-LG and XL-2XL). Its Twin Shield System has a drop-down, ultraviolet-, scratch-resistant, and dark-smoke tinted sun shield that can be locked halfway down or fully down. The flow-through ventilation system with channeled lower port and top vent keeps you cool and comfortable. Added comfort comes from the hypo-allergenic, moisture wicking fabric liner, which you can remove and wash and from the laser-cut foam cheek pads.
The Rebellion helmet has a micrometric quick-release chin strap. It’s set for you to install the LS2 Linkin Bluetooth communication system by Sena, which is sold separately. The Rebellion helmet comes in black, matte black, or black chrome.
The LS2 FF328 Stream Helmet shell is made of High Pressure Thermoplastic Technology (HPTT) in just one size. Inside, the technical fabric liner wicks away moisture and is easy to remove and wash. Cheek pads are cut from a single solid piece of ultra-high-quality foam using LS2’s 3D Laser Technology. The Stream helmet has the easiest-to-use quick-release system now on the market, so changing shield is simple. The face shield is scratch-resistant, has the FFS Fog Fighter System, is optically correct, and is Pinlock ready. The LS2 Twin Shield System includes a drop-down sun shield.
The LS2 FF325 Strobe Helmet, made from HPTT, is modular, with LS2’s Twin Shield System. Slide and cable technology and LS2’s ShortShift Tool-less Quick Release make it easy to change the sun shield even with a glove on. The face shield is optically correct and scratch-resistant. The chin bar has a secure detent so it stays in place when up. The 3D laser-cut foam liner can be removed and washed.
The Strobe helmet has a narrow internal shape with less width from ear to ear but more forehead room than other helmets.
The LS2 Verso Helmet has an optically correct, fog-resistant Class A polycarbonate face shield with a built-in diffuser at the bottom, which gives additional fog protection by redirecting airflow. The Twin Shield System with the drop-down sun shield is controlled by a large knob at the side of the helmet. Just twist to engage. The sun shield retracts when you lift the face shield and you can then re-engage the sun shield. An innovative C-tab connects the face shield to the helmet and can be removed and replaced with a sun peak—included with every Verso helmet.
The Verso helmet comes in two sizes and is made from KPA, so it’s light and strong with very high resistance to penetration. An adjustable top vent ports air through the liner to keep you cool. The liner is removable, washable, and hypoallergenic.
