There’s a lot going on at Eagle Leather this month. On April 27, we’ll have a Mother’s Day Fashion Show. If you’d like to model, please click here. This fashion show is a chance to see what’s new and stylish at Eagle Leather. Women can buy what they like, or they can point out their favorites so someone special can step up to the plate. Guys—this is the perfect opportunity to get a gift she really wants, whether for the mother of your children or for your own mom, whether she rides a motorcycle or not. But more about that next week.
The day before Easter, April 20, we have three special events planned.
The first will take you back to your childhood. It’s an Easter Egg Hunt—but with very grownup prizes. We’ll hide six red “eggs” in the Eagle Leather store. Maybe a mannequin will be holding one, or another will be under a helmet, or in plain sight on a shelf. Each egg will have a gift certificate for Eagle Leather gear. There will be one egg each holding a certificate for $25.00, $50.00, $75.00, $100.00, $250.00, and $500.00 for a total of $1,000.00.
The Easter Egg Hunt will kick off at 10 a.m. and end when all the eggs are found.
If you’re not good a finding eggs, don’t despair and don’t stay home. We’re having two drawings on April 20, one at 1 p.m. and another at 2 p.m. Both drawings are for $500.00 in prizes. All you have to do is fill in the entry form and be present to win.
And, at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., we’re having a very special presentation. Derek Roberts from Law Tigers will present Motorcycle Matters, a free legal seminar for motorcycle matters. His talk will be followed by a questions and answer session. We aren’t going to reveal everything about his presentation, but, for example, until we get the law changed, you could get a ticket for parking any way but parallel to the curb. You can learn from Derek what to do if you get such a ticket.
Law Tigers is a nation-wide group of lawyers who are especially knowledgeable about motorcycle law. For example, do you need insurance to ride in Washington State? What if you go on a road trip outside of the state? What if you are cited for making too much noise? You should know what to do if you’re in an accident, what your rights and obligations are, what to do if you’re in an accident with someone who isn’t insured. Derek has the answers to that and a whole lot more.
It’s going to be a full day—a perfect time to shop for new gear for the new riding season. We’ll have the coffee pot on and something good from the bakery. See you then!
