Group Rides

Nothing compares to a group ride. You get the benefit of a sweet ride, a chance to ride with old friends and make new ones, and the satisfaction of giving to a good cause.

We have some exciting group rides beginning at Eagle Leather in early July. We love hosting group rides, as it gives us the opportunity to meet with many members of our riding community! Eagle Leather is a great spot to host a group ride--we have coffee and cookies on Saturdays, and during the summer we BBQ every Sunday for lunch! We also have a great selection of gear and accessories that will can make your ride that much more enjoyable!

Coming up on July 8, rain or shine, the annual Salmon Run to benefit veterans will meet at Eagle Leather in Lakewood or at Empire Pizza in Port Orchard. The Ride will take registrations at 9:30 AM and set out at 10:30 AM. The poker run will end with a salmon barbecue, a live band, and biker games. The hosts, the Viet Nam Vets/Legacy Vets MC and Suquamish Warriors, will donate the profits to assist veterans. The suggested donation is $20.00 for the first rider and $10.00 for the second. We hope to see you there!

Another organization hosting an upcoming ride at Eagle Leather is the Northwest Boxer Rescue. It is a non-profit, volunteer organization that operates as a no-kill, kennel-free organization. It uses a network of volunteers and foster homes to give every boxer a chance to live a happy life in a loving home. The NWBR sees that all its boxers are evaluated, vaccinated, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and get any other necessary veterinary treatment and then places them in carefully screened homes.

On July 9, from noon to 3:00 p.m., the NWBR will hold its Bikers for Boxers BBQ in the back parking lot of the Eagle Leather Lakewood store. Take a look at some of the dogs and read about the work of the NWBR here and then come out and chow down to support them.
